Consenivo

Quick answers

Common questions

What people ask us most, answered plainly.

What is Consenivo?

Consenivo publishes free, plain-language educational clinical trial information. It is run by The Nelson M Group LLC.

Can I ask you to erase what I sent?

Click unsubscribe in any email, or write to [email protected] and ask us to delete your information.

Can you say whether I would be a good fit?

No. Fit is decided by the study team, with you. We explain the common criteria in everyday words.

How often will you text me?

Not often. Message frequency varies, topping out around 8 a month, and message and data rates may apply.

What does signing up give me?

Plain-language educational notes on the topic you choose. Email is optional, and so are the short texts that link to the guides.

Is Consenivo a medical provider, study team or recruiter?

No. We do not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, do not run or recruit for studies, and nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice.

Do I have to agree to texts?

No. Texts are optional, with one unchecked box. You can sign up without ticking it.

Is a phone number needed?

Only your first and last name, a topic and the privacy agreement. Email, mobile number and ZIP code are all optional.

Can I sign a study consent form on Consenivo?

No. We do not handle consent for any study. The guides only explain how consent works in general.

Will you match me with a study or a research site?

No. We do not recommend, rank or match you with studies, sponsors or sites. Public registries list studies, and your doctor can help you read them.

Will my details go to a drug company?

No. They never go to sponsors, manufacturers, research sites or recruiters. For the details, read the Privacy Policy.

Is this site for medical emergencies?

No. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911. For questions about your own health, talk to your doctor.

How do I stop texts?

Text STOP back to us. For help reply HELP or email [email protected].

Is the consent form a contract?

We cannot give legal advice. The guides explain what the form is meant to do and what to ask the study team.
